VANISHING ICE is a visual exploration of the potent times in which we are living-- when 15,000 year old glaciers and icebergs are rapidly melting into the ocean as a result of climate change; when political and emotional melting points are being surpassed every day; and when large portions of the truth remain hidden beneath the surface, we must join together and face our imminent future. These gestural, lively depictions of melting icebergs are a poignant symbol of the urgency and delicacy of our current global situation, the strength and magnificence of our planet, the great unknown that lies ahead (and beneath us), and the immense work we must do in order to change the fate of our world.
